How can I finish birdseye maple veneer?
Me build frames and borders are cabinets.the oak door with the red as gel stain and finished with dark shallec gloss poly and its dark spots undertones.the panels are clad with red eye maple problem im taking veneer.the is I can not seems to find an end to the plate which shows the depth of the veneer and the oak still matches framing.i really want maple deep dive
Assuming you do not want to stain birdseye maple, I just Danish oil, 2 layers, then finished with polyurethane or shellac, but not to the point, no need to use both the poly urethane varnish, use one or the other. birdseye maple looks awesome yellow and stained with In addition to aniline aniline-dyed orange Bettero.
